We took these pictures in one day and looking through them they represent our typical days while living in Chania, Crete for a month. We had a rotating cast of animal friends we’d play with. We’d take the mile walk through town to the beach every day. We’d usually find a little www.bluebirdflies.com/food restaurant for dinner. It has been one of our favorite spots in all of our travels.
I usually give the animals we meet their nicknames. This is Calico Jack and Cora digging an impressive hole.
Cora is now buried in the hole, with Xina (her actual name per the collar) watching guard
Guy playing some type of brass instrument at sunset
Octopi drying at sunset
Another beautiful sunset in Crete
The Venetian Harbor entrance and lighthouse
Chania, Crete. The domed building was a former mosque built over a former church. Now used for art exhibits.
Little alley on the way to dinner
Everyone excited to eat more amazing Cretan food
