We are on a high-speed train (up to 186 mph!!) from Madrid to Barcelona, and then a second (slower) train on to Costa Brava.
Macy’s fever is gone, we are up early, and enjoying our speedy view of the countryside of Spain. We can’t help continuously noticing how similar it looks to California, to include the wind turbines!
We passed a lot of small villages: some in valleys, others built into hills, and a seemingly endless supply of olive groves. What I loved the best were small rural homesteads with large gardens (like ones I’ve seen in movies). These passed so fast, I couldn’t capture them on camera. Bobby turns and says to me, “I don’t know what you’re doing, but I’m moving to Spain!”
Thanks for included us in the adventure! This is awesome!
Love the olive groves – see any fields of sunflowers yet?? Have fun!
Yes, we did! But I guess its the end of the season because they were all wilted and dying. Doesn’t make a great picture 🙂 lol
Thanks Heart! Miss you!
haha I had a feeling Bobby would get to that point- just didn’t realize it would be this soon ; )
